Stow Police Blotter Highlights

When you live in a small town like I do, the weekly Police blotter is always a fun read. Not only can you keep up with the goings on in town, but you typically get a good laugh as well. As Stow, Massachusetts has an interesting mix of rural character with farms and orchards commingled with suburban bliss, you get an interesting mix of incidents. Below are the highlights from the past week, and I would characterize them as a pretty typical representation:

Caller reports turtle crossing the road and is concerned with it causing traffic hazard.
S8 responded. S2 reports a passer by moved turtle of the road onto the sidewalk. S8 continued.
S8 reports turtle gone on arrival.

responded. S8 reports owner of pony took control of animal.

Caller reports a herd of goats and sheep running around her neighborhood. S4 notified. The Animal Inspector was notified. The owners of the herd was notified and will take control of animals.
