Happy New Year! Woke up feeling pretty good on Thursday and exciting to go skiing. Unfortunately the thermometer read -5°F and the wind was howling. The skiing on Saturday was pretty good with halfway decent cover, but the heavy rains were a bit depressing. We had some nice, soft, easy turns up on Middle Earth and Liftline on Castlerock, though, and we fully enjoyed it. In the end, we were soaked through our 3-layer Gore-Tex but content with the skiing.
