		<description>I&#039;d actually recommend plugging your ears. The DB level of some of the T&#039;s screeching brakes is easily high enough to cause hearing damage in your upper frequency range. Placing your hands over your ears should give you about a 10DB attenuation and negate the problem.</description>

- some people use the palms of their hands to cover their ears
- Standing where you know the door will open is just good, common sense.  C&#039;mon now...you&#039;re just lucky you&#039;re with someone who knows where to stand. 
- Today I sat near a women who was wearing an airbrushed, purple unicorn t-shirt, a funny hat, and who was doing a piece of needlepoint that read &quot;Merry Christmas .&quot;  What the hell is up with that?  

And I&#039;ll pretend for a while longer that I&#039;m not one of the crazy people you&#039;re talking about.  At least I don&#039;t run to my car.</description>
